The first big announcement he made is that Clickfunnels will focus more on its roots: The powerful sales funnels.
Two years ago the Clickfunnels team tried to improve their email automation tool Actionetics/Actionetics MD and wanted to compete with other email autoresponder software, chatbots, messengers and marketing automation.
Unfortunately, this had the effect that all their development and support resources focused on Actionetics and their main power, the sales funnel, was neglected.
Brunson admitted this as a mistake, in view of Actionetic’s missing success.
That’s why he and the Clickfunnels team now want to set a new focus on consolidating their position as category king of sales funnel software.
What does this mean for you?

Actionetics, as well as Actionetics MD, are being shut down.
Of course, this won’t have any negative effect on all the existing users of these two tools. However, they won’t be available for new users and there won’t be any new features or bugs fixed.
As there are some awesome alternatives to Actionetics I think that anyone, new or experienced will get along with this innovation. All the more you’ll be excited to hear that apart from sunsetting Actionetics Brunson and his team have and will be focusing all their developing powers on Clickfunnels itself.
I definitely think that this will be a big win for all of us.
No matter what you think of the previous news, the biggest announcement is yet to come: The Clickfunnels Platinum Edition.

What is the Clickfunnels Platinum Edition?
The new Clickfunnels Platinum Edition will replace the older Etison Suite Plan or Enterprise package. It also replaced Actionetics with Follow-up Funnels.
It has a monthly cost of $297 per month and so will the Platinum Edition. Existing Etison Suite members will automatically be upgraded to the new Plan and retain the access to Actionetics/Actionetics MD and Backpack. By the way, the name Actionetics will change to Follow-Up Funnels.
Furthermore, the new Clickfunnels Platinum Edition includes 3 more new features: A daily virtual Hackathon, Funnel Flix, and the Funnel Hacker Forum.
Daily Virtual Hackathons
How about some Two Comma Club X feeling? That’s where the idea for the daily virtual Hackathon came from. You are going to build different funnels inside of virtual training. The goal is to get your own funnel created, designed and finally launched.
Inside of this virtual training are 11 basic funnels (lead funnels, summit funnels, challenge funnels, webinar funnels and so on) and each virtual training called hackathon will deal with a different type of funnel.
The virtual hackathons are expected to start on October 12th in 2019. The training will show a different funnel every day and in case your curious about the day’s funnel you can dive right into the training: A Clickfunnels coach will then walk you through the funnel building.
Funnel Hacker Forum
You probably already know about the Clickfunnels Official FB group. The group has over 200,000 members but only 95000 of them are actively paying Clickfunnels users. Brunson himself said that it has got out of hand a little.
That is why they created a new official community for paying Clickfunnels users only which is called the Funnel Hacker Forum.
There isn’t too much activity in the forum yet, as it was just launched, it will soon turn out how long this will last according to its visibility. The forum isn’t too easy to find but you’ll find the access as part of the forth Funnel Flix tab.
Funnel Flix
Sounds like Netflix to you? Well, almost. Funnel Flix is going to be the streaming platform of business and entrepreneurship training videos.
It is hosted at http://members.funnelflix.com but available inside of the Clickfunnels dashboard as well.
There are already lots of training videos uploaded inside of Funnel Flix, some aren’t available yet but will be soon.
A very important point to mention here is that not only Etison Suite users have the privilege of using the new platform. Surprisingly the Standard Plan users will have access to a lot of important content too (Funnel Builder Secrets Masterclass light included! Not to be mistaken with the package).
