Did you ever hear about shiny object syndrome? I don’t really like the term, it’s kinda overused, but it’s so real. People who are starting online always wanna succeed as fast as possible.
They think they just sign up for an affiliate program, spam their link all over the internet and get rich. Yeah, it doesn’t work that way…been there 😀
When I started I had no idea about blogging, keyword research, SEO or email marketing…I just started a weight-loss blog, wrote a handful of articles and pasted my links everywhere… Yeah, I know…But that was my first step…
Later on, I switched to Facebook Ads and spend a lot of money there, then Ecommerce and Dropshipping, Social Media Management and building Instagram Pages…then I found back to affiliate marketing… Done Solo Ads, Viral share funnels and learned Google Ads.
After burning a lot of money on ads with comparatively little results I decided to switch…
New game-plan! Take the time and don’t rush. Build sustainable digital assets and use organic methods to make a regular online income. THEN switch to paid methods an scale.
I started narrowing down all the channels and Guru’s that I’ve followed because it was actually more of a distraction then really helpful.
I started to focus on SEO and organic methods, found a mentor and followed the step-by-step process…and Voilá, sales came in 🙂
